THE NOTEBOOK

•  Describe Duke's character. How is he like? How does he behave? Has he got a good acttitude?  He was a patient and in love with Allie. He behaved in a very polite way. Yxes but when she remembered who was he, he was carried away by his feelings.

• What is the first thing they do in the morning, in the nursing home? They first thing they do is take their medicines.

• Describe the old lady Duke reads to.She was very attentive, kind and pretty.

• Describe the different space you can see of the nursing home.  There is a very big garden with a lake with some benches to sit and a very large and cozy living room with some flowers and two seats and also their rooms. 

• Where did Noah ans Allie meet for the first time? They meet for the first time in the town fair.

• Where did Noah and Allie danced together for the first time? Their first dance was in the middle of the street. 

•  Why didn't Allie's parents like Noah? Because he comes from a humble family, doesn't have as much prestige, they live day by day. And since they don't have the same level of life they will not contribute to good life to allie. 

•  Does the doctor agree that Duke reads to the old lady? Why? No, because he thinks Allie's illness is irrebersible.

•  Which signs of dementia can you see in the old lady? I can see that she doesn't remember Noah, her children and her beatiful life. 

•  Does Allie lose her emotional bounds with his partner? Justify your answer.  Yes, because she doesn't remember her husband. She thinks he is a stranger. That's a matter of dementia.
